Author Biography

Krzysztof Wasilewski

Krzysztof Wasilewski, PhD is a Polish independent historian and media studies scholar; his areas of academic interest include American press history, alternative media, immigration discourses, and media theories. He is a grantee of the Open Society Archives in Budapest, The Roosevelt Study Center in Middelburg (Holland), and the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies in Berlin. His latest research project concerns the depiction of immigration and immigrants in the US mainstream and alternative press in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Email: krzys.wasilewski@gmail.com
